Our Story

Two friends, one idea, and a city that hadn't seen it yet.

KOJO — Kingdom of Joy was founded by Manisha Bhura and Deeksha Duseja, who set out to build something Bhubaneswar didn't quite have: a place where play, art and a good cup of coffee could exist under the same roof, without one crowding out the other.

[INFORMATION REQUIRED — founder biographical detail] This section is ready for the fuller story: what led Manisha and Deeksha to start KOJO, what problem they saw in Bhubaneswar, and what the first day at Shaheed Nagar looked like. Share this with us and we'll write it in.

The Idea

Play, create, eat, celebrate, connect.

KOJO was built around a simple belief: children deserve to play freely, and families deserve somewhere worth staying in — not just a drop-off, but a room parents actually want to sit in. What started as one kingdom in Saheed Nagar is now two, at Saheed Nagar and Patia, with the same idea running through both: create, explore, play.

"We may take a few wrong turns, but…
we always find the way!"
